If you don't like books that make you tingle, then you definitely need to skip this one...
If you like hot rock stars, then keep reading...
Heath is the lead singer of Hot Wired. Sam is his best friend's rebellious sister. Together, the two sizzle on the pages.
Living the life of a celebrity doesn't come without a price. What starts out as a publicity stunt, turns into something more for Sam and Heath. I loved how their fake romance sparked the flame that they had been trying to ignore for so long. There are many obstacles thrown in their way. Obsessed groupies, her protective brother Jase (who is also in the band) and a publicist that will stop at nothing to keep the band in the spotlight.
Heath has a reputation as a womanizer. He loves them and leaves them as their band tours the country. Sam is guarded, afraid that she will be another woman that Heath tosses aside. Can Heath convince her that those days are over and that she is the only one that he will ever love? Or will she leave it all behind to save her heart?
While the book is HOT, it does have a deeper story. They have been friends since she was a young girl and deciding whether or not you want to risk losing that friendship is the real challenge.
I have to admit that I fell a little in love with Sam's brother Jason. While he was an ass most of the time, he melted your heart with how much love he had for his sister. I can't wait for his story to be told in book 2!
